Recipients: F.G. Fleay and unidentified recipients (possibly also F.G. Fleay). (1), to Fleay at Messrs Reeves & Turner, 196 Strand, refers to Fleay's Chronicle of the London stage and concerns sections on Collier's forgeries and Fleay's statement that "Shakespeare learned his business as an actor from Edward Alleyn." (2) concerns a letter of Joan Alleyn to her husband. (3) indicates that he was able to answer Aldis Wright's questions about theatres at or near the old Paris Garden by referring to the recipient's book. Also, with (1), a slip of paper reading William Young, Esq., 19 Change Alley, London E.C.
